The Indiana Pacers are signing free-agent forward Kelly Oubre Jr. to a two-year, $17 million contract, according to a report from ESPN on Wednesday.
Oubre, 30, most recently played for the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 14.1-plus points and five-plus rebounds in each of his three seasons with the team, starting 150 of the 178 regular-season games he played.
He’s been a consistent scorer, averaging double-digit points in each of his last nine NBA seasons, posting career averages of 13.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals over 705 games (352 starts) with the Washington Wizards (2015-18), Phoenix Suns (2018-20), Golden State Warriors (2020-21), Charlotte Hornets (2021-23) and 76ers.
He’s set to join a Pacers team looking to bounce back after following up its NBA Finals appearance in 2025 with an injury-plagued 19-63 campaign this past season.
