COLUMBUS, OH (WTVB) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has laid out the new protocols high schools in the state must follow to play sports this fall.
DeWine said Tuesday the state would move forward with allowing all sports, youth and middle school included, to proceed. DeWine said fan attendance will be greatly scaled back with only the student-athletes family or close associates allowed at venues.
Individual high schools can now decide if they will move forward with their seasons and will also be responsible for dictating mask rules during games.
