LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Michigan House committee has taken testimony from three people who are seeking to reverse the effects of gender-affirming care they received.
The House Oversight Child Welfare System Subcommittee also heard from a woman that conservative activists hail as a whistleblower against healthcare providers offering children and teenagers the care.
The hearing did not have anyone testifying in favor of the treatment, including any transgender people, their families, or healthcare providers.
Equality Michigan was invited to speak, but they backed out right before the hearing was held.
