The Spartans opened their season with a rout of Northern Arizona Monday.
In college basketball action Thursday, Central Michigan University lost its season opener 97-73 at Marquette, while Western Michigan crushed Goshen College 99-62 in its home opener.
Detroit Mercy visits Boston College today.
