DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – John Beilein is reportedly heading back to the state of Michigan. According to the Detroit Free Press, he has been hired by the Detroit Pistons as a senior advisor in player development.
Beilen was the head coach at the University of Michigan from 2007-19, leading the Wolverines to two national title games in ten NCAA tournament appearances.
He was behind the bench for the Cleveland Cavaliers for 54 games during the 2019-20 season.
