WARREN, MI — A move made by General Motors earlier today does not directly involve any plants in Lansing, but it could have trickle down impact, experts say. General Motors has laid off over 200 employees at its Warren Technical Center.
The cuts, reported by the Detroit Free Press this morning, come from its design department, including jobs in vehicle development and engineering.
The automaker reported stronger-than-expected earnings earlier this week that sent its stock price skyrocketing.
