EAST LANSING, MI — The college football season is fast approaching. Michigan State University opens up against Western Michigan on Friday Aug. 29 at Spartan Stadium, but first you have a chance to meet this year’s team this week.
Michigan State University’s “Meet the Spartans” event, where fans can interact with players and coaches, is scheduled for Thursday at Spartan Stadium. The event will run from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Fans will have opportunities to take photos with the team, get autographs, and participate in various activities, according to a press release.
Second-year head coach Jonathan Smith will be available for pictures and Spartan players will be signing autographs for one hour from 5:30-6:30 p.m. as part of the free event (please note: fans are limited to one item for autographs). Autograph stations for the players will be positioned throughout the south concourse inside Spartan Stadium.
The 2025 Spartan football schedule poster will also be available and can be used for autographs.
