WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Centrist group No Labels will not field a third-party bid for the U.S. presidency because it lacks a candidate, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
Nancy Jacobson, No Labels’ founder and chief executive, has told allies that the group will announce on Monday that it will not pursue a presidential campaign this year because it hasn’t been able to recruit a credible ticket that could win the election, people familiar with the plans told the newspaper.
