EAST LANSING, MI — A Michigan State University student who was paralyzed by the February 13th shooting on campus has given MSU notice that he is going to sue the university.
Yukai “John” Hao is the third injured student to file paperwork of a lawsuit, and the father of Alexandria Verner, who was killed, is also going to sue.
Hao says MSU acted with gross negligence and failed to take steps to protect students and visitors on its campus from harm. He is an international student from China, and a GoFundMe for his care has raised over 436-thousand-dollars.
