LANSING, MI — More closures are coming for Bed Bath & Beyond. The store’s parent company is trying to avoid bankruptcy, which means cutting costs and closing stores.
The retail chain this week said it plans to close an additional 150 stores, including the store in Okemos on Grand River Ave inside Meridian Mall. The chain did not disclose how much longer the store will remain open.
The Michigan stores closing include:
- Flint: 3605 Miller Rd.
- Holland: 3050 Beeline Road Suite 30
- Okemos: 1982 West Grand River Ave.
- Portage: 5930 S. Westnedge Ave.
- Saginaw: 4420 Bay Rd.
- Troy: 650 John R. Rd.
- Westland: 35615 Warren Rd.
Bed Bath & Beyond already announced plans to close its Lansing location on West Saginaw. The company’s ultimate goal is to operate approximately 360 stores.
