LANSING, MI — Michigan’s attorney general wants to appeal a ruling involving the Larry Nassar case.
Michigan State gymnastics Coach Kathie Klages was convicted in 2020 of lying to police about the case. However, the state Court of Appeals overturned that conviction last year.
AG Dana Nessel filed an application to appeal that ruling to the state Supreme Court yesterday, saying the ruling “could set a harmful precedent for future cases.”
