SOUTH HAVEN MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 19-year-old Van Buren County man who shot and killed one person and critically wounded another on Friday in South Haven had plotted a shooting at Paw Paw High School in 2018.
Aiden Ingalls of Bangor shot two victims on the South Pier at around 2:15 pm before turning the weapon on himself.
A male victim died at the scene, while a woman was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Ingalls had been at a juvenile detention center until June of this year for his 2018 threat to Paw Paw High.
South Haven police say there appears to be no connection between Ingalls and his victims.
No other injuries were reported.
