LANSING, MI — The Salvation Army Lansing Capital Area is more than just red kettles at Christmas time. And to prove it, on Saturday, June 5, they will be hosting a Neighborhood Block Party.
The free, family-friendly, outdoor event at its Citadel building at 525 N. Pennsylvania Ave. in Lansing, will feature bike giveaways, free hot dogs, nachos, drinks and snacks. It’s from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The Neighborhood Party is the “next step to providing a place of hope, happiness and fun in Greater Lansing,” said Major Jim Irvine, area coordinator for the Salvation Army Lansing Capital Area.
