KANSAS CITY, MO (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers and the Royals open a three-game weekend series in Kansas City tonight.
Detroit improved to 17-and-26 on the season after completing a three-game sweep of the Seattle Mariners Wednesday. Kansas City has won their last two and stand at 20-and-22 on the season.
Tonight, the Tigers send Jose Urena to the mound against Royals starter Mike Minor. The opening pitch is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. EDT.
