ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A member of the University of Michigan offensive line is entering the transfer portal. According to The Wolverine, redshirt freshman center Zach Carpenter has entered his name into the transfer portal.
The center has started the previous two games for Michigan after fifth-year senior Andrew Vastardis went down with injury. Carpenter has appeared in five of six games this season.
Michigan State University sophomore defensive back Julian Barnett is putting his name in the transfer portal. Barnett was a receiver in his freshman season for the Spartans before moving to the defensive side of the ball this season under head coach Mel Tucker.
The defensive back has spent most of the time playing special teams during games.
