PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Ramona Park Beach in Portage has reopened to the public following a possible COVID-19 exposure among staff.
Last week, city officials announced the closure after some of its staff had been exhibiting symptoms of the virus.
Monday, officials said that the COVID-19 test results for three lifeguards at Ramona Park Beach are negative for the virus, and the beach is now open again.

All hard surfaces in Ramona Park are sanitized daily. At Ramona Park Beach, rental boats, paddles and life jackets are sanitized before and after every rental. The entrance booth and concession stand, as well as the restrooms and changing rooms, are sanitized frequently throughout the day.
