EAST LANSING, MI (WJXQ) — Michigan State junior forward Nick Ward is out of the lineup indefinitely after undergoing surgery on his left hand.
During a press conference Oon Monday, head coach Tom Izzo confirmed Ward had the procedure Sunday night to repair a hairline fracture. He was injured during MSU’s win over Ohio State that day. There is no timetable for his return, but officials hope he’ll be back before the end of the season.
MSU plays Rutgers tomorrow night at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
